At Driftwood Day Camp, every detail is designed to create a welcoming, fun and memorable experience for children and their families. Set across a beautifully maintained 22-acre campus, the camp combines outstanding facilities with an environment that promotes learning, adventure and community.
To complement its high presentation standards, Environmental Street Furniture was commissioned to design and manufacture a bespoke range of branded trash cans that reflected the Driftwood identity while providing practical, durable waste management across the site.The Challenge
With hundreds of campers and staff using the facilities every day throughout the summer, Driftwood required waste solutions that would:
Reinforce the camp’s vibrant brand identity
Encourage responsible waste disposal and recycling
Withstand constant outdoor use
Be easy for staff to empty and maintain
Complement the colourful, family-focused environment
The goal was to create waste stations that looked like part of the campus rather than standard off-the-shelf bins.
Our Solution
ESF designed and supplied over 50 bespoke trash cans, customised in Driftwood’s corporate colours and finished with the camp’s branding.
Each unit was configured with general waste and recycling options, helping to encourage responsible waste separation while supporting the camp’s environmental initiatives. Manufactured for demanding outdoor environments, the trash cans combine robust construction with low-maintenance operation, making them ideal for busy educational and recreational facilities.
The Result
Today, the branded trash cans are installed throughout the Driftwood campus, providing a consistent, professional appearance while supporting a cleaner environment for campers, families and staff.
By integrating the camp’s colours and identity into everyday infrastructure, the project demonstrates how even functional products can reinforce a brand while promoting sustainability and creating a more enjoyable visitor experience.
